BNamericas relies on a multidisciplinary and multicultural team of over 180 professionals specializing in Latin America, including analysts, journalists, translator, researchers and commercial executives. The team strives to cover the most relevant business news in 12 sectors day by day.
JOURNALISTS: Specialists in business news
With the aim of expanding our international team, we are looking for enthusiastic journalists working for us in a freelance way in Brazil, preferably in Sao Paulo or Rio de Janeiro. The right candidate has excellent contact-building skills, business knowledge with a focus on Latin America and interests in developing a sound understanding of the major issues and dynamics of the industries covered.
As a journalist working for Business News Americas your responsibility will be to recognize newsworthiness, pursue leads and deliver timely and objective stories focusing on strategies, business opportunities, investments and both operating and financial performance within a specific industry.
On a fulltime condition, we expect to receive 6-8 daily stories + 2 Q&A monthly.
On a part time position the goals are half of what fulltime is expected.
Requirements:
Qualifications and Experience
• A university degree or other similar professional qualification in journalism with at least some journalism experience. Or
• A university degree or professional qualification in another relevant subject, with at least two years
